Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse, Hospital Co-ordinator
Renee has been a veterinary nurse since leaving school early to come and work for me (at a different clinic in those days). After finishing her nurse training, Renee went on to gain advanced skills in veterinary dentistry, as well as all other facets of nursing. When she decided on a change of scenery late in 2015, we were delighted to have her join us with a view to taking charge of our ever-expanding dental service. She very quickly managed to make herself into an invaluable and very popular member of the team at Gawler Animal Hospital. On top of this, Renee has also moved into a hospital co-ordinator role which she shares with Bailey Bartlett. She’s discovered that being a mum is actually very good training for this role as managing multiple hospital staff can be a bit like herding cats (or adventurous children) at times!
At home, Renee and husband Wade have a growing family in Asher and Deanna, both of whom are now well into their school careers. She also has 2 delightful Burmese cats in Alfie Bille and Archie Bobbie (she assures me that the children had more than a little to say in the naming process!). Some might say that the cats having been growing as well but Renee assures us that they’re just big-boned!!
