Veterinary Nursing Assistant
Maddi is a busy lady, combining her work here with a full-time university career. She’s enrolled in her (human) nursing degree course at the University of Adelaide and ultimately hopes to work in neonatal or maternity practice. Helping out here with caesarian surgery will no doubt help her when it comes to her ‘real’ job. Of course it’s much easier in human medicine as babies generally come only one (or occasionally two) at a time!
Maddi does a wonderful job supporting the hospital nursing staff – cleaning, feeding cleaning and walking hospital pets, preparing surgery kits and generally helping out wherever required!
At home, the family pets include Zeus, a one-year-old Rottweiler and Tyga, a two-year-old cat.
