Dr Grace Chapman BVSc DVM (Adelaide)
Grace joined the Gawler Animal Hospital family in early February 2021 and brought with her a passion for the industry and bundles of energy!
Grace graduated from Adelaide University in 2018 and secured a role working at a seaside clinic. Although she enjoyed the fresh sea breeze, Gawler Animal hospital was always a place she wanted to work after completing a work placement here whilst she was studying. Grace enjoys all aspects of veterinary work, in particular medicine and palliative care. Grace is a strong believer that being an older patient, doesn’t mean you have to be uncomfortable.
Grace is a self-confessed farm girl and with her farmer fiancée Ben, has a house in Kapunda that they are currently renovating in their spare time. If Grace isn’t at work or renovating you will find her outdoors, playing netball, tennis, fishing or gardening!
Grace has 2 fur-babies who have all started as patients of hers; Alfie the Red Merle Koolie and Stewart (King Stew) the Silver Domestic Shorthair. Alfie came in for his litter vaccinations and Grace never let him go! King Stew was meant to go up for adoption at her previous clinic, but very similar to Alfie… he was held hostage and found himself a lovely farm house in Kapunda with Grace and Ben.
We are thrilled to have Grace as part of the team and we know you will love her too!
