Emma has the distinction of being our first Tasmanian staff member, coming from Launceston. She’s well into her veterinary studies and plans to graduate in 2021. Whilst completing her studies, she’s carrying out part-time veterinary nursing duties for us at Gawler Animal Hospital.
She’s a confirmed outdoors fanatic and, in summer, you won’t find her far from the beach or from the sporting field. Being involved in the sporting community has been a big part of her life, dabbling in athletics, netball, basketball and touch football. Since coming to South Australia, she’s involved herself in both the city and the Barossa touch football leagues so sounds like a significant level of interest! After a knee injury (sporting-related), she’s thrown herself into running and making the most of her social time balanced around studies.
Although Emma has no pets at the moment – her dream pet is a German Shorthaired Pointer. Great choice Emma!
Emma is really excited to be working within the profession and to be part of the GAH team. On our part, we’re delighted to have the benefit of her high energy and commitment!
