Carena – Vet Nurse
Carena joined our customer care team in 2017 and quickly became an essential part of the clinic. With extensive experience in veterinary nursing and customer care, she made an immediate impact through her knowledge, confidence, and the strong rapport she builds with clients, pets, and team members. Carena’s understanding of pet conditions and her ability to triage patients effectively are valuable assets.
Carena studied at Gilles Plains TAFE and loves animals, particularly forming bonds with clients and their pets through every stage of life. Known as the favourite auntie to her nieces and nephews, Carena and her husband Dave welcomed their daughter Gracie in 2021.
Currently they don’t have any pets, after losing Rocket and Bailee last year. Carena enjoys travelling in the caravan whenever she can, cooking, and spending quality time with her family. Her dream pet would be a pygmy hippo.
