Shannen came to us in mid 2019 after taking time out from her nursing career to bring the newest Hunter into the world. She slotted into the team in no time and has already become a very valued member of the GAH staff group.
From a work point of view, Shannen is an all-rounder with the ability to fit into hospital, consulting or even reception roles. She has a keen interest in canine rehabilitation, following orthopaedic surgery, and also takes great pleasure from seeing a sick patient walk out of our doors healthy and happy!
Outside of work, Shannen dabbles in photography. Shannen has two beautiful girls – Ella and Harlow – to keep her occupied on her days off. She love taking the girls on adventures and Shannen also finds that any outdoor activities make her happy!
Shannen finds it hard to say no to pets and has found herself with a rescue Dalmatian, Charlie along with two Staffys, Choofy and Ace. To complete the clan Shannen has 2 rescue cats, Max and Buttons!
We’re delighted to have Shannen as part of the team and hope to have her around for many years to come!
