Tommi – Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Tommi began her journey at Gawler Animal Hospital as an Animal Attendant and is now studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has a special interest in wildlife, although she admits that some of the animals she encounters at work can be a little intimidating.
Inspired by her mum, Sonia, who is also a veterinary nurse, Tommi knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary nursing.
At home, Tommi lives with her mum, dad, brother Jace, and a lively collection of pets including her cat Chino, a dog, a horse, chickens, and fish.
Outside of work, she enjoys riding her pony Ruby, going to the gym, shopping at Kmart and Shein, drawing, and spending time with friends. Her dream pet would be a meerkat.
